Deliverable 6.1

Abstract

Deliverable 6.1 presents the manufacturing of the demonstrator of the CIRCULAR WELD project. The demonstrator was manufactured at the UNIFI facilities. One of the unit cell types investigated during the project (truss type) was used to create an energy dissipation device for the seismic retrofitting of steel industrial facilities. The system is realized by assembly (i.e., welding) two printed samples of three unit cells each, inclined as required. Demo design and manufacturing will be analyzed by the UNIFI and UNIBO research groups.
